I liked Hope before but now he is magnificent in this outfit! |
It has been revealed that men's fashion magazine Arena Homme+ will feature Prada Spring/Summer Men's Collection of 2012 with Final Fantasy XIII-2 characters Hope, Sagh, Snow and Lighting, styling it up in actual Prada clothes. There is nothing more appealing then seeing our favorite and hot, Final Fantasy characters in new outfits. But why Final Fantasy? As Prada is a company of pushing its boundaries, the combination is a part of Final Fantasy’s 25th anniversary. It is hard to imagine that it has been 25 years since we first laid our hands on the epic series. Final Fantasy has blossomed in gaming as well as in fashion and brings to light tons of possibilities for its future.
Hello, Noel. ;) |
I can see video games and fashion colliding more often because of this, with characters wearing real clothes and fashion wearing character clothing. In an earlier article I wrote called 'How Vocaloid Made the Singer Obsolete,' technology is available to have holographic anime characters sing live on a stage. There can then be a possibility to have models become the video game characters themselves walking the runway in Prada collections.
We are not far from the future ladies and gentlemen! I could only imagine the next chapter, and I anxiously anticipate on how and when the collision of games and fashion will blow up. There is no doubt that this will be successful; it takes risk takers and a sense of perseverance to overcome the odds. What I feel may be the result in this turnabout is a market towards fashionable gamers: both guys and girls. We have to understand that the gaming market is expanding encompassing more diverse audiences. Whose to say this won't be another "Niche away from the Norm?"
